This uncommonly soft sock yarn proves that a little alpaca can go a very long way. It has all the bounce and durability that you’d expect from a proper wool-nylon sock yarn, but with a softness that makes it equally suitable for accessories and an excellent option for fine gauge baby clothes too.

The mini 25g balls lend themselves to contrast colour heels and toes, plus all the more elaborate colourwork sock patterns from designers such as Summer Lee or Stone Knits.

The yarn is spun from South American (thus mulesing-free) raw wool in Italy.
